Review: Nvidia Tegra 2 Android Tablet PC 10A9

One and half an year ago, the first chinese Android Tablet PC was released. Nowadays, there are hundreds of Android Tablet PC on the market. There is the cheapest one with VIA CPU and resistive touch panel, there also is the most expensive one with Cortex A9 CPU and capacitive touch panel.Model 10A9 is one of the most expensive chinese Android Tablet PC.

Pros:

Cons:
  • Memory only 512MB
  • Expensive as a no brand Android Tablet

Design and Specs

Different with iPad and other Android Tablet PC, 10A9 does not have Home button in the front cover. It has Power button, Screen Lock and Return button on the upper side and volumn +/- on the left side.

10A9 also has one HDMI, one standard USB 2.0, one TF card slot, one earphone jack and one power connector. TF card slot is very important for 10A9, because it only has 512MB nand flash inside. If you want to install more software, you have to insert an external TF card.

The creative highlight for 10A9 is the presinstalled 3D shell. When you start the Tablet PC, you can view the Weather Report, News and Google search by sliding the screen. The Programmes menu is in 3D too. If you start the music player on the desktop, the music player is also in 3D. That is very interesting.

Conclusion

With CPU Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core cortex A9 and 512MB RAM, 10A9 is valuable for money. It can compete with any brand Android Tablet PC.
